I agree wholeheartedly with Bonnie, Luz Velez, Robin S., and SS below. It's unfortunate that some people abuse their meds. Some take more than prescribed, because of the pain, and that leads down the road to addiction!
I was blessed when I found Dr. Gosy, after suffering a traumatic car accident out of state it was very difficult to find a pain management doctor that understood and had compassion for people that have chronic pain. He is a lifesaver, and for all the feds and people out there pointing fingers have you ever experience chronic pain? Also, if you are given a prescription it is your responsibility to take as prescribed. If you are abusing them and people are dying from them it is their own fault. It sounds cold, but take your medicine the way it's prescribed and you won't have an issue. Don't blame the doctor when he is only doing his job that he was trained to do and Dr. Gosy does it well, very well.
I wish the witch hunters would leave Dr. Gosy alone. I never had him as a doctor but I know people who go there. He is strict about people messing up and he does amazing work with his patients. I hate to see a great doctor get caught up in bs because of people who abuse their medications. If it wasn't for Dr. Gosy a family member of mine wouldn't have any quality of life.
Dr. Gosy tolerates no excuses when it comes to strong medication, never has.
Dr. Goya prescribed more pain killers that any HOSPITAL in New York! He has been indicted for causing the death of 6 people. He also signed the death certificate for these people WITHOUT AN AUTOPSY. In addition he is charged with insurance fraud because insurers pay for most of these drugs. Which costs all of us money in increased premiums. A simple google search will return plenty of information.
Excellent doctor that really knows his stuff. He honestly wants to help his patients, which is very rare in today's world . And as I said he is very good and knowledgeable about pain management
