They don't answer the telephone. You go through a network of redirecrions, just to get cut off after 10 minutes. I ordered flowers for express deliver, i.e. before 1pm. It's now 3:33 pm and no show. There is no way to get in touch. Utterly useless. I will never use these cowboys again.
My son, who lives out of town, has used Shelly's Florist for my Mother's Day flowers or planters for several years. I don't have the heart to tell him how awful they have been. Today I received a pathetic Fairy Garden planter that they charge $55 for. There is one 6 inch plant and the rest are tiny, soil level plants. There is, however, a large teapot shaped to look like a fairy house, that will wind up in the trash when the plants die, as last year's planter rapidly did. It seems as if they take too many orders and then run out of plants/flowers. I've gotten meager bouquets with half dead flowers in the past, also. They may be fine when it's not a holiday, but I sure would never order from them.
If they deliver today, I'll come back and edit this review, but I doubt it very much.
Update: Last week the owner, Steve, called me about my review. He apologized and said he'd like to make things right. The following day he rang my doorbell and gave me the most beautiful and elaborate bouquet I've ever seen. Based on his willingness to go over the top to make things right, I am reevaluating my one star review. Solely on the stunning beauty and creativity of this flower arrangement I'm giving Steve 5 stars. I will give them another chance.
Beautiful piece. Only thing was my Corsage fell off of the bracelet because there wasn't enough glue holding it on. I had to use the ribbon to tie it on and half fast put it back on. Hopefully it was just me and other ones won't turn out like that but it was definitely the prettiest Corsage I've ever seen! Roses are so traditional, get the orchids!
Very helpful with an amazing selection of flowers and arrangements. Wedding planning with flowers and centerpieces has gone very well.
