Local male Enterprise representative in Gadsden, AL....Dan, was nothing short of rude and condescending. Unsympathetic to my health ailment after returning home from a road trip. Asked to have car picked up, couldn't do. Asked for a possible alternative...not short of needing help. Couldn't do. Yes, at Enterprise, "...they'll pick you up", but they can't pickup the vehicle.
Finally, after ten or more days of paying for vehicle to set in my driveway, called my USAA insurance and had vehicle towed for drop-off. Truly, what a joke! Used Enterprise many times before, but the Gadsden rep, Dan, was nothing short of a flaming A-Hole! Kind of expected more from Enterprise?!
Avoid using this facility if you can help it. The staff seems very disorganized and the assistance is painfully slow. They have no system to line up customers as they come in and the employees just shout out "who's next"? On top of taking 25 minutes to get through the two customers ahead of me, they didn't even have the proper size vehicle for my reservation; even though I called two times before picking it up (once just 10 minutes before) to make sure everything was set. To make matters even worse, the car was dirty (crumbs all over the seat, big black scuff marks on the upholstery). Very disappointing for such a large national chain. I will definitely stay with Hertz in the future. Update: in response to the reply I received, I already sent an email to the supplied address two days ago and received absolutely no response to my issue. I think its dissapointing when companies send these canned emails to appear as though they are trying to remedy a situation. I've adjusted my review score accordingly. I would warn others regarding this company's true responsiveness to issues.
They tell you that they are picking up a rental, never show up and charge for the next day.
The worst service I've ever experienced was from this location. They left me waiting over 90 mins to be picked up and gave me a car with the engine light on. Very disappointed.
I give them 4 stars on the availability of my vehicle and was efficient on gas and very well maintained. On the down side the price was a little too high for just a weekend rental.
