This has been one of our favorite date spots for a while, so we decided to have our wedding reception at Cuginos. It is a quaint yet sophisticated atmosphere. Frank, the owner, bent over backwards to make it extrordinary for us. For our private party, there were a handful of staff on the floor and behind the bar, and they were all very prompt and curteous. Frank himself is always out on the floor though taking care of his guests, pouring drinks, serving dinners, etc.
I have been to Cugino's twice now amd would conyinue to go back. The staff is absolutely amazing and very accommodating. The food is delicious and the portions are large. The menu has just the right variety of dishes to choose from.
Consistently delicious! Dinner or lunch, Cugino's never disappoints. Caesar salad is wonderful. Pasta of any kind is fresh & perfectly prepared. Specials also hit the spot. Excellent service, food, and atmosphere.
I didn't have much feedback on the open bar, particularly because Frank suggested wine on each of the tables, so we selected his personal brand of Malbec and a Pinot Grigio which were absolutely wonderful.
It is clear that Frank takes pride in the food and drink he serves his guests, and it shows in the quality of what you receive. In Italian tradition, the meals here are an event in and of themselves! Thank you again Frank!

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our dining experience tonight. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the food was amazing. I ordered the spinach fettuccine with tomatoes, olives and capers, and it was truly one of the best pasta dishes I have ever eaten. Its simplicity highlighted the flavors of each ingredient, and in combination they culminated into an delicious dish.
The party included many well traveled Italians who described their dinner as easily the best Italian food in Buffalo, and comprable to cuisine in Italy. The beef osso bucco in particular received rave reviews all night long!
